Dr. Yung Lee is a General Surgery Resident at McMaster University and is concurrently pursuing a Master's in Public Health at Harvard. His keen interest lies in minimally invasive/bariatrics surgery and surgical endoscopy, having contributed over 95 peer-reviewed articles. His work integrates clinical epidemiology, health innovation, and health services research, earning significant funding from respected bodies like the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Lee founded the Evidence-based General Surgery group and has been recognized with prestigious scholarships and research awards from major surgical societies. Passionate about surgical innovation, he is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.


Presentation Overview:

I will be presenting innovative surgical research that was presented at DDW 2023 with the focus in therapeutic endoscopy, endobariatrics, and hepatobiliary disease management.
